Frequently Asked Questions

Answers, in plain terms.

The questions teams ask most often before they get started with Quantiva — what it does, how it fits into your workflow, and how it treats your documents and data.

About Quantiva
What is Quantiva?
Quantiva is a document-intelligence platform for teams whose work depends on reading documents carefully. It turns uploaded documents into structured, traceable analysis — including credit work, research, diligence, and agreement review — so your people spend their time on judgment rather than data entry. See how it works →
Who is Quantiva built for?
Financial teams, analysts, legal teams, and diligence teams — anyone who receives stacks of documents and has to turn them into a consistent, defensible write-up. It is multi-tenant, so each organization works in its own isolated workspace.
Does Quantiva make the decision for us?
No. Quantiva produces the analysis; your people read it, question it, and make the call. Every figure can be traced back to a source document, and every standard applied is one your team configured. The decision always stays with a human.
Using the platform
How does the workflow work?
A submitter uploads the relevant documents and starts an analysis. Quantiva extracts the structured data, runs the ratio analysis and scoring, and produces a draft. An approver then reviews, adjusts if needed, and records the decision. The whole path — submission, review, approval, and revisions — is captured in an activity timeline.
What documents can I upload?
Financial statements, bank records, agreements, identity documents, and other supporting files that typically accompany document-heavy work. Uploaded files are stored privately and malware-scanned before processing.
How do roles and permissions work?
Each organization has submitter, approver, and admin roles. Submitters prepare and submit analyses, approvers make decisions, and admins manage the organization, its members, and its settings. New members either create an organization or request to join an existing one, subject to admin approval.
Can we configure Quantiva to our own standards?
Yes. Thresholds, standards, and the knowledge base are configurable per organization, so the output reflects how your team actually works rather than a fixed one-size-fits-all template.
How do I get started?
Create an organization, or join an existing one with the Organization ID your admin gives you. You agree to the Terms & Conditions when you sign up. Sign up →
Security & data
How is my data kept secure?
Each organization is isolated from every other tenant. Accounts use hashed passwords with brute-force protection, optional two-factor authentication, and session management. An append-only audit trail records security-relevant activity. For the full picture, see our Security overview →
How long is my data kept, and can I delete it?
Document retention is configurable, and Quantiva supports data export and deletion requests with an evidence log of deletions. Details are on the Security page.
Where can I read the terms?
The platform Terms & Conditions are presented during signup, and you confirm them when you create or join an organization.
